SMS Text Messaging Program

Program overview
Go Run Rabbit LLC operates Swan Forest, a Burning Man theme camp, at swanforestcamp.com. Swan Forest offers an SMS (text message) program so that confirmed camp members receive timely operational updates about the camp and the event. This program is for existing camp members only — it is not a marketing or promotional list, and it is not open to the general public.
How members opt in
Members opt in from inside the Swan Forest member portal. After a member signs in at swanforestcamp.com/member, they open their profile, enter their mobile number, and check a box to agree to receive text messages from Swan Forest. Entering a mobile number and checking the consent box is the only way to join; no one is enrolled automatically, and consent is not required to be a camp member or to make any purchase.
Because the member portal is private, the opt-in form that members see is reproduced below exactly as it appears to them:
US numbers work as-is. Outside the US? Start with + and your country code.

What we send
Members who opt in may receive text messages such as:
- Volunteer shift and bar/kitchen reminders
- Arrival, gate, and placement coordination
- Transportation and ride coordination
- Camp dues and payment reminders
- Time-sensitive operational updates about the camp and the event
Example message: “Swan Forest: your bar shift is tomorrow (Wed) 5–8pm. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Most of the year members receive only a few messages per month; frequency increases in the weeks leading up to and during the event (late August through early September).
Cost
Swan Forest does not charge for this program, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opting out and getting help
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP to any message, or email camp@swanforestcamp.com. You may also remove or change your number anytime in your member profile.
Privacy
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Numbers are used only to operate this program and the camp’s services. See our Privacy Policy for details.
